I love mine! Adding a touch of battery weight to the front may make you pedal a tick on inclines the bike’s not made for, 30 degrees (“made for” being important), but saves power as you descend, unless you wish to live in the mountain top. Be realistic. I-rider, no-towing bike for the cost of what crap manuals sell for all day long. The “battery inside” is a horrible idea, especially if it manages to catch fire! This lets you remove it to charge (you can easily charge it outside the bag with include lightweight charger, and prevent theft). Building it inside the bike is a nightmare scenario of swapping. I’ll take Velcro and standard clasps, myself). Plus if you’re riding to “look cool” umm… don’t ride.

“Of course if this had *hydraulic brakes* the performance would be much bette!l” 1. You stopped in under 4 seconds. That’s impressive for any vehicle, 2. Hydraulic brakes wound send you over the bars if you went from that speed to zero in 2 seconds. And friction-blast your tires on roadway so expect to replace your tires very soon, very often, and very much the rider’s fault. “Not as bad as I imagined…” What did you imagine? A physics degree?

Just took mine out for a spin in snowy northeast weather. Not very good. Tires are too thin for icy roads and any snow taller than an inch. The tire traction isn’t that good for streets anyway. The manufacturer put the cheapest possible tires on here. I think I’m gonna try to switch out and get a wider tire if possible does not much room though for upgrade but I think that might be a slightly fatter tire. I can put on the bike. I’ve had a lot of trouble on anything dirt path or soft sand with this bike anyways. It’s mainly a good commuting bike on asphalt with no uphills.

external battery id say is better for when it comes to replacing the battery and if u dont like the look of the front add a fern to it to hide it or like a face plate etc for looks

In reality this is a 150€ bike, coupled with a motor/controller/battery. Is it worth your money? Well... Suggesting you are thinking of buying one of those smaller frame 250W e-bikes, I guess this is better and has a similar price to performance ratio. However, there are convertion kits that are newbie friendly and you could get at least 500W for the same price... (1000W is also on the table :3 but it's not newbie friendly at that price).
