No you really don’t know them if you just follow them/are subscribed. It’s a parasocial relationship and they aren’t your friend (because they don’t know you personally) so you shouldn’t trust everything they say. Most of the time they are online trying to sell you something. It’s okay to be friendly and interact with them but make sure you do your own research before buying anything they are selling or taking their financial advice.
