How about explaining their endangerment status? I mean, I assume they're all extremely endangered, hence being on this list, but you could display that status on the screen with the other information. Also, I'd like to know WHY they're endangered. Again, I imagine almost all of them would have the same reasons: human interference with their natural habitats, and introduced predators. But still, would be interesting. I would've liked to see Takahe on this list. They're possibly not as badly off as many other birds on this list due to their celebrity status here in NZ, and lots of resources and effort being put in to bringing them back, but they have an interesting story - they were thought to be extinct for 50 years before being rediscovered in an isolated South Island valley! (There're only around 400 or so individuals left alive.)
