90's Dodge interior failing before mechanical components: Good Enough

This thing is absurd in the best way possible. What a treat to see it out, doing what you built it to do. It's rewarding to watch, so I can't imagine how good those jumps felt in person. Keep it up, I can't wait to see the landspeed car out there breaking a record next.

“I fixed this by mashing down on the throttle” is by far the best solution for the viper in any off-road encounter

The officer that pulled him up:
"Do u know why i stopped u?"
"No, sir"
"Sick car bruh"

- Building an off-road Viper: crazy human
- Building it on jack stands: super human

Imagine transforming your car to this degree and never looking into how to take off the hardtop. Love this guy

I will be honest, when you announced this project I did not expect the viper to ever drive, let alone go offroad. I was proven wrong and I am glad I was!

This thing's like a bald eagle diving head-first into an apple pie with Bruce Springsteen blaring in the background. It is a triumph of man over sense and reason. It brings a tear to my eye just basking in such greatness.

This is by far the coolest thing anybody has ever done to a Dodge Viper. I wish more people did this sort of thing more often.

I'm in my 40s..to this day if i see a viper i turn my head. They still have a special place for us that grew up when they came out. Gorgeous cars even now.

Comes in at a strong 2nd to the best thing you've made competition. After the ham sandwich ofc.

Matt, I've got to hand it to you. I really thought you had lost your mind for cutting up a viper but this thing is 100% tight. This is what the Internet was meant for.

1:16 You can take the man out of the 4Runner, but you cannot take the 4Runner out of the man

Imagine being lost in the desert, completely dehydrated, exhausted & partially hallucinating, then you see THIS in the distance doing donuts, while thinking it's an off road Miata.

Spent years hearing a man that says "I don't have the money for it" compared to my 25 years of sim racing without the money to get a racing license do, build and drive some of the most incredible things I've dreamed of and I still can't be happier for him. Living the best life, Matt. Enjoy it, you're earning it 😊 🤙

Damn. Seeing that Viper jump was beautiful enough to get a grown man to cry.

I love "let's figure out how to put a cabin air filter into this" after it's already been filled with dust. Never change, Matt.

No joke, 28 years ago my friend and I were arguing about vehicles and he said the Viper was the best. I told him "not offroad, " and he replied "give me a viper, 2 years, and $200, 000 and it will be.". Because of that, I am SO EXCITED for this build! Who would have thought a stupid conversation between children would come full circle!

Edit: spelling

Mad Max certified. Genius and madness once again find each others love. Both in "This car should not be offroading like this" sense, and the "Old-School Viper was not dangerous enough on its own" sense.
