Am I the only one who knows the difference between a GENERAL-AUDIENCE cartoon and a KIDS cartoon? All the cartoons shown in this video are general-audience cartoons (cartoons that are made for people of all ages, and not just for one specific age group). "Kids cartoons" should be cartoons that are ONLY for kids, which are preschool cartoons. I'm so sick of everyone assuming cartoons are made only or mainly for kids. When general-audience cartoons like these, and even adult cartoons are right in front of them! Thanks for making this video! It does a really good job of showing how beautiful animation is, and that it's not just some little thing made to distract children like a lot of people think it is.

Sucks that the west's general public sees 3D and cartoon mediums as genres and are lumping them into being only for kids no matter the way they're written. When I was very little, Prince of Egypt (0:06), Ice Age (0:09), Monsters Inc (0:10), and Spirited Away (0:33) showed me different parts of the soul I otherwise never could have learned since I never really had a father figure. They broadened my world, humbled me, inspired me, taught me to have hope in myself, try to have hope in others, and showed me there are others out there who can relate to me and I to them. Even more so with all these movies as I would get older and keep rewatching them.
I also watched Grave of the Fireflies (not in this video) when it released in the US (2005). I was still a little too young but it properly communicated to me the horrors very young civilians have to face in war. People as young as I was. With both world wars being among the worst.

I love the meme but I just don't get how they made the song so much better. I know this is a repost, but I need to know. I try reverbing the original song (in this shirt), but it just doesn't sound the same. This version sounds so much better, so powerful. Someone please tell me how it's done.
