GIS Day 2019 -- Education Track
21st Annual GIS Day
On Wednesday, November 13, students, professionals, and the general community will gather for the Coastal Bend's GIS Day, "The Science of Where," to learn more about GIS technology applications and see their use in action. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Del Mar College's Center for Economic Development located at 3209 S. Staples, and is offered at no charge to attend.
The public is also welcome to participate in both the educational and professional tracks to learn more about how GIS and Unmanned Aircraft Systems technology impacts the community and the job opportunities that these applications provide.
