Year 2014! And this is the only video and the only human who explains/-ed that the 'grey' image should be in the middle! The rest merely show/-ed how to use it. And many are not even showing how to do it correctly.

I'm going to try this again today. I just can't believe that the designer of this tool makes us learn 10+ steps to getting the correct color. Is there any other way to set the white balance on the camera, I'm amazed that we even buy these tools. LOL, you did a really good job, but I would have like to have seen a person and I would have loved to have seen an image before the white balance was set and then one after and a side-by-side comparison!!! Thanks a great lesson

Your explanation and demo was super easy to follow! I just can't see to get my histogram to be exactly in the middle. Nor can I get anything from the expo disc but a very blue picture. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. But I'm following your excellent instructions. Please do another lesson showing what happens when the expo disc does not show a good white balance, I.e., what WE might be doing wrong! Thank you so much!!

Very clear explanation. I will try this with my new expodisc! Where my understanding "breaks down" is once the WB is set, do we continue to check our exposure meter as we take photos and make adjustments (in Manual) to our settings?

Well done Denise — in situations where your doing portrait type shooting its very clear ... however if you are shooting a sporting event in an arena or a landscape photo do different procedures apply ...it is difficult in those situations to get to the subject to make the web photo ????
