AMBER [ AMBIENT MODULAR ] : Digitakt // Rings // Magneto

Ambient Patch utilizing the granular stutter effect from Mutable Instruments Clouds. Everything is recorded directly to cassette tape.

Patch Notes:
- Bass Voice: Mutable Instruments Plaits - Intellijell Quad VCA - Strymon Magneto (Shift mode) - Maths channel 1 as Envelope Follower to Plaits 'MORPH' parameter.

- Chords: MI Rings (Polyphonic mode) - MI Ripples V2 - MI Clouds (wet 100%) - Make Noise Maths Channel 4 as EG.

The Elektron Digitakt is acting purely as an external sequencer, sending gates and CV information to the Hexinverter Mutant Brain MIDI to CV module.

Make Noise René MK2 is sending Pitch and Gate signals to Rings, while the 'X' channel on René is receiving a trigger signal from the Digitakt to advance the chord progression.

The patch was partly inspired by Lightbaths' Clouds chord stutter technique, using a rhythm signal sent to the trigger input on the Clouds module, while manually adjusting the 'Size' and 'Density' parameters.
