The NPC actually eating food is so simple, yet so impressive. I love the little detail of him dropping food off his fork and picking it back up. It’s the little things.

The first detail I encountered that told me this game was serious was when I was chasing this small animal; the thing just dropped dead, I didn't know what happened. Then it got up and took off running again... It was an opossum... Playing dead... Blew my mind.

What did we do to deserve Red Dead Redemption 2? Seriously. Even 4 years later I'm still in complete awe of this game. It's the end of 2022 and I've still yet to find a game that's impressed me as much as RDR2.

You forgot to show that when it rains the paths become muddy and you create footprints and horseprints. These then fill with rain. When the sun comes out the water evaporates and the tracks dry out, but the tracks remain. Totally crazy!

The detail that made me fall in love with the game is the fact that you actually WALK up stairs. One at a time. Like an actual person. It's something so simple, yet makes all the difference. Instead of your character just clipping with stairs or their feet hanging halfway off.

Also the fact that wagons actually leave trails in the mud impressed me. Once I finally kltoced it.

This game is so immersive, I still can’t believe how rockstar were able to pull this off, way ahead of its time.

I knew corpses decomposed but I never knew they fully decomposed into boney, that’s actually amazing!

The amount of thoughts the devs put in this game is insane. I'd say it's an incredible feat of humanity itself.

I'd say the best encounter I ever came across was when I rescued some guy on the side of the road who had a bad injury. Brought him to Saint Denis and brought him into the Doctors place. He had me set him into a chair where he looked over him for a bit and gave him something to knock him out. He then discussed with me the issue, which lead to him needing to amputate the arm. He informed me he'd be taken care of and that I could leave... but I stayed and literally watched this doctor saw this dudes arm off, take a couple breathers in between before tossing the arm into a bucket and wrapping the injured arm up afterward.

When I finished just the story for first time when I played, I just liked the game. Then for second time I took time for exploring things, doing all small quests, then I fell in love with the game. Felt like I was living in it. The best ever game I played. Thank you Rockstar for creating an alternate life. ❣️

Wow.. never realized that NPC’s actually ate food. That, and that wild horses don’t have horseshoes..

I’m on my 7th play through, and am still learning little minute details. This game was crafted with the utmost love and care, and it shows. Absolutely mind blowing. I think it’ll be a long time until we see another game crafted on the same level.

I've played the game and seen so many of these that it just becomes natural that all these details are there.
Especially animal behaviour I find is very impressive. Predators hunt prey, dogs play, deer and horses flee etc.

Seeing this makes me want to go back and play it again. Playing RDR2 for the first time was such an amazing experience.

The fact you can just follow NPCs and freak them out is priceless. I love how there are unique reactions to being followed. This game really really went the extra mile to make you feel like you're there.

It's not a matter of graphics but things like these that truly make a game feel next gen. I can't get over the fact that rdr2 has both. Playing this game felt like falling in love for the first time.

Little details like these are whats making me take my freakin' sweet time with the game. Yep, its my first time. I'm almost 100 hrs in and not yet explored the entire map. Still in act 4 or 5 and just recently found the joys of hunting. Going for that legendary satchel.
