This App Lets You Turn Old Photos Into Videos

With the help of AI technology, family photos can be brought to life. Apps like MyHeritage's LiveMemory can take your old photo and turn it into a video. Artificial intelligence predicts how the photo subjects would move or gesture in real life. Then it generates an animated video of what that might look like. Genealogist Jen Shaffer uploaded a photo from 1925 of her late grandma and her siblings. She says bringing her long-deceased ancestors back to life is a remarkable thing to see.

I tried this app with my parents photo. In the animation, they smile and look at each other. But they don’t look like my parents at all. Facial expressions are way off too.

I would be more creeped out than impressed. Not because I'm seeing old pictures come to life, but the fact that AI is making the photo inaccurate with whatever activities they are doing sometimes. my best example would be that old picture with the family members playing their instruments. 0:58 even the woman who owned that picture pointed it out, but had a laugh.
