Ms Parton I made my Daughter a Coat of Many Colors when she was little she was so proud of her coat . Well she passed away last month this was one of her favorite songs and the other was dancing in the Sky and the other was Love You love me. She wore that coat and she to had kids making fun of her but she tried to tell them about why loved her coat and she said it was made with love by momma with lots of love causey like you we didn't have much money and she said its brand new Momma worked hard on my coat of many Colors and I Love it. I miss her so very very much we were very close to one another . We were Mother and Daughter but she also loved it cause she looked like her momma.

I love this song. It brings my mind to a happy space. It means so much for me in so many ways. It reminds me of my ancestors, it reminds me of growing up without having much and me started working at 10 years old as a baby sitter to make extra money next to school (And since then a LOT of different jobs.) but also my love for clothes and how I dreamt that one day I would design mu own clothes. That dream didn't come true. Even as an adult I would so wish someone could lend me some beautiful coats or clothes in many different colours so I could feel pretty for some days. 😊 Because the good lord knows I was not blessed in the beauty or money aria when I was born.
