Concerns over food insecurity grow amid COVID-19 pandemic

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread across the U.S., a growing number of people are dealing with food insecurity. Research from the nonprofit Feeding America shows that 54 million people could experience hunger in 2020. Patch editor Kenan Draughorne joins CBSN's Lana Zak to discuss.

Where was all this concern over "food insecurity" when meat plants were being shut down? When fields were being plowed under? When our food supply chain was under attack?

Check your local food banks if you need help, they're out there just hiding. Andd, If you're able to help. DONATE TO THEM!!! Same thing with school. Donate food to school if they let you. Some school will send kids homes with little baggies of food so they won't go hungry for the day/ week. You can help be the change.

Biden was stuck in a snowstorm when he remembered his dad's advice: "If you ever get stuck in a snowstorm, wait until a snowplow drives by and then follow it."
