What kind of texture do you prefer? Grungy, cracked pavement, grain, paper? Let us know!

Great! This video answered my question perfectly. Thank you!

Awesome instructions! I watched, went to my artboard and added a grungy look to my text with no problem. Love that I can add grunge to any image or font! Thanks for the video.

Dope, thank you for this! Pretty Awesome. I prefer grungy so far but playing with grain as well.

Love Kittl and love the textures. Just one suggestion though. Could you add pure black and white textures? Or allow us to upload our own? The problem with all the gray tones in the textures is when you are using the Alpha Mask it reduces the opacity throughout the entire image which isn't a good thing for POD. If you have pure black it would cleanly knock out those texture areas and leave the pure white areas of the texture completely in tact. Thanks for all you do!

Can you mask out or only allow the texture to cover a portion of the design? For example what if you only want the texture to apply to certain elements in the design and not others (for instance only the cat), or maybe just cover the bottom area of your design and not the full image? I can not find a way to do this as it seems the texture is forced to the full size of the artboard and become a part of the artboard, therefore you can not even move elements higher in the layers to avoid. Any ideas?

This is great!! Other videos show you how to download the image, use another software to add, then remove background image and I was totally confused since I'm not a designer by trade. Thank you for this great and simple to follow tutorial.☺

Have you considered to add gradients? Or, how we can add it? Thanks.

This is great. Just signed up for paid Kittl and am enjoying the learning process. Hopefully you'll add some to the Adobe Illustrator style functions to the design software in the future. The AI is giving me weird results. I've been looking for slot machines and it keeps giving me weird foreign slots and not front views like I'm prompting. I also kept searching for Chief Sitting Bull and kept getting generic images. I'll keep trying.

Drew, is there an easy way to add an overall tint to a Kittl project. For example if you want to tint the entire project red, or sepia etc? If so, please make a video demonstration of that feature (if it exists) or technique.
I saw there is something in the IMAGE SETTINGS/OBJECT SETTINGS menu (box) that allows removing a single color. I tried that, but it only removes a single color (as far as I can tell).
But, i would like to ADD a color across the image (in Kittl) prior to downloading the final project image.
If this does not exist yet, I encourage you to recommend it to the Kittl developers. I think it should be as easy as adding a "gel" group to the Textures menu, with standard gel colors or a color wheel or picker to select a custom color "gel" or tint for the project. The current Textures slider with opacity scaling can be useful too, to increase or decrease the opacity (tint) of the gel color selected. I hope that can be built into Kittl.

Could you do a grudge effect with words?

Can you please add the feature to allow us to upload our own textures and use the "Alpha Mask" and "Clip Content" feature on them?

Is this second part, the alpha mask clip to erase texture from the graphic, part of the pro plan or does it come with the free version?

I understand I can clip the Texture using the Clip Content... but I am needing to clip the Grunge under the Abstract. I s there a way to do that? I have dark text I am wanting to add white grunge to without it being on the back ground... but I don't see an option to clip it like I can the ones under Texture.

why do I get the message “Please select an Artboard” it only applies the texture to the artboard

How do I add grunge textures to my design without adding holes in the picture after I make it a png? I think it'll be harder to print a t-shirt if I have holes in my image, right? or do the holes only show up on a png?

I added a grunge layer then chose alpha mask and now there is specs all over that area on the tshirt. I "removed back ground " and it's still there

I'm new to this.... why are my textures showing up as objects? I don't get the same controls that you are showing... no ability to do any fades... just color changes

Now just imagine if you could move the texture layer. So for example when you clip it to your art you can adjust it to clip to just certain things and not the entire thing... Just a thought... Would love to see it haha

Or maybe create a slider that allows us to adjust the contrast of the current textures.
