I hear this all the time. It changes throughout the day, but usually is accompanied by mid atlantic coast voices of young men and a woman from time to time, though i heard a woman's voice break suddenly into a guy's voice as if a voice changer switch had accidentally been tripped, same with a young child that calls me daddy from time to time. I have no children. What puzzles me is why the kid or other voices have no southern accent. I do and always have lived in arkansas. PS nevermind. I researched it and this is a resonant frequency range for the auditory canal and system which enables people to pick up human voices very well. So, this explains why they amp out this frequency, a few tweeks and you can speak through it and be heard clearly. At least this clears up a lot for me, thank you so much for posting this. I owe you one in heaven when i get there.

Amazing! The note here is A 7(double high A) tuned +028. If you can play A 7 on a 437.5 hertz instrument, you will get exactly 3500 hertz. 437.5*2^3=3500.

Did you know that the threshold of hearing of 3500 Hz is -20dB, yes it’s negative... quite special don’t you think?

That sounds like a fire alarm control panel beeper when it's sounding during a fire alarm or trouble condition.

That's also the one of what it sounds like at my school but it's 3, 530 Hz and it's a Fire-Lite MS-5210UD
