St. Stephen was in The Book of Acts.

"The Stoning of Saint Stephen" is the first signed painting by Dutch artist Rembrandt, made in 1625 at the age of 19.

It shows a man so incensed that he uses two stones, one in each hand, instead of just one to kill innocent Stephen.

Saint Stephen was the first Christian Martyr to be stoned to death, which is why His Name is honoured in such a glorious place.
