Enclosed instructions were poor, but I have followed your video and successfully installed my sw motech Pro tank bag at first time of asking!!

SW Motech sells 2 spacers designed to lift the bag a bit higher so it does not touch the tank in the rear of the bag. One is 6mm and one is 12mm. They are both pictured with part numbers in the bag mounting instructions and SW Motech U.S. has them in stock. I just ordered the 12mm spacer kit to mount the Pro Engage bag on my CB1100EX and I am hoping it cures the bag touching the tank. It looks like the 12mm kit might just be two of the 6 mm spacers, which would be ideal so I can use as little as necessary. If they don’t fix the clearance problem I’ll return the bag.
