Brake caliper pins allow the brake pads to move back-and-forth smoothly.

When you apply your brakes your caliper squeezes the brake pads on the rotor. Many people don't realize the importance of your caliper pins.

It is important to clean and apply new grease to these pins every time you change your brake pads.

People ask most times “Can you continue to drive with a seized brake caliper?” In short, no – you cannot continue to drive with a damaged brake caliper. Doing so can be extremely dangerous for both your vehicle and the safety of yourself and other road users.

When caliper pins are not properly lubricated, rotors and brakes can become misaligned which
generates frictional heat and accelerates wear. To extend the life of brake pads, it is critical to select a lubricant that can withstand high temperatures during braking. #satisfying #shortsfeed #youtubeshorts #subscribe #youtube #howto #shortsvideo

If you could pull it out with a hand. It’s not seized. Just dirty.

You greased it wrong, too much grease. There must not be grease on the front side of the pin.

Try pulling the rubber back but without tearing it to get a vise grip tight as a mofucka on it spray penetrating oil in der and just whack it out then grease it and reuse it I recommend a new slide pin tho they ain’t much
