Welcome to what many consider the greatest song of all time! And although the live performance is iconic, I hope you treat yourself to listening to the original studio recording from their fourth album in 1971. It is pure brilliance! Jimmy Page, who is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time, intended to have the band mix both light and heavy in their music. And that is partly where the band name comes from. Led for heavy and Zeppelin for light!… Please react to the studio version of Whole Lotta Love from their second album in 1969 one of the greatest riff rockers of all time. Thanks!

My father always said, "No talking when Led Zeppelin is playing".

Also, it doesn't matter how many times you listen to "Led Zeppelin" it's like listening for the first time.

Jimmy Page is one of the greatest rock guitar players of all time. His guitar licks taught a generation of guitarists.

Led Zepplin is the greatest Rock band that has ever existed. Period. It’s so fun and reassuring to watch someone young experiencing them for the first time. I hope you dive further into their music. Some of the best Rock music ever made.

"Stairway To Heaven" is their most famous song & considered by many as one of the all time best. Led Zeppelin have a huge library of hits. "Immigrant Song", "Whole Lotta Love", "Kashmir", "Black Dog", "Ramble On", "When The Levee Breaks", “Dazed & Confused”, “Since I’ve Been Loving You”, "Rock & Roll", "The Ocean", "Over The Hills & Far Away", "The Song Remains The Same", "The Rain Song", "Good Times Bad Times" etc.

One of the *BEST* songs ever written or recorded by one of the *BEST* bands ever created. Timeless and magical.

Now in recent years Led Zeppelin was honored for their achievements at the Kennedy Center Awards. The band Heart plays this song as a tribute. Absolutely amazing, with Zeppelin present. Enjoy
Love your reactions.

Greatest band ever! Jimmy Page is the greatest guitarist ever...just as each of them are. They would play 3 or 4 hours straight. No breaks. Watch the 28 minute Dazed And Confused from this 1973 concert...Jimmy kills it the entire time!

The band name comes from a conversation when they were starting out. Jimmy Page is the guitarist and was in the 60s band The Yardbirds and in order to honor contractual obligations Page put the band together with new member as the other Yardbirds members quit. They called the band the New Yardbirds but after meeting their obligations they needed a name the conversation with member of the band The Who told Page the group would go over like a lead balloon - so from their came Led Zeppelin and the rest is history. Also, Page is one of the greatest guitarist and as a matter of fact the Yardbirds were the source of three of rocks greatest guitarist, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.

It’s not about the length of time Jimmy is playing. It’s about the mastery of his playing and the soul he exudes playing the music. He’s one of the legendary guitarists in history.

All four of these guys were at the top of their game. John Bonham is widely considered one of, if not the, greatest drummers in rock history. No one rocked harder than Zeppelin, that's for sure.

Possibly the greatest song ever recorded. Thank you for reacting to the live version Maddy!

Saw them in 1977 on one of the "Day on the Green" concerts at the Oakland, Calif. Coliseum. They had many Days on the Green in the 70s and 80s with multiple bands. I was 20 years old back in the day and they were then and always were my favorite band of all time. Seeing Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were one of the highlights of my youth. It was their last American concert ever so I was witnessing some Rock N' Roll history in the making. Rock on baby !!!!

Hello Maddy. I need to say that it does my heart so much good when I see and hear the reaction of young people like yourself enjoying classic Rock-N-Roll. God bless.

For those of us who were fortunate enough to be teens when Zep burst upon the scene, it was always incredible how they could come out with one great, not good, but great song upon song, album after another. Then when they could produce such insane stuff like this, it was just mind blowing, because all of it was just soo different. U never knew what to expect, except to expect greatness.

we were blessed with the fact that the Mighty Zep was just interested in making the music they wanted to, not trying to produce commercial stuff that would fit on 45's so they could make money.

When Bonzo died, R and R was never the same.

My brain won't except that you have never heard what is widely considered the greatest Rock song of all time. That said, if this is your first venture into Zeppelin, put your seat belt on.

The group Heart does a fantastic live tribute to Led Zeppelin of this song at the Kennedy Center Honors. The ladies, Ann Wilson and her sister, Ann the guitarist, honor one of their musical inspirational heroes. You MUST react to this song. The drums are handled by Jason Bonham, the son of the late drummer of the band. I'll be back to see your reaction. Enjoy
