Is eating the black oxidation bad for you? Currently have a normal wave but would consider getting a black wave+ if eating the black stuff doesn’t take more than 10 years from my life.

titanium is supposed to be LIGHTER than steel. Both are pretty identical, apart from the replaceable wire cutter which is just the "+" in the "Wave +" compared to the old wave. It really is a mystery why they still have both the charge and the wave, rather than having a complete series of Wave (full steel, black oxydised, titanium, limited damascus, G10...).
