How is Cid/Shadow on this list? I love TEIS, but I feel like my balls are getting kicked every time somebody says shadow is universal at the least. Please, there’s barely enough evidence to make an argument about him being planetary (S2 space atomic can be taken a little more seriously + plus the speed at which the light/explosion traveled; said force as a result of the speed could theoretically destroy a planet itself). Also, if anyone is wondering, the idea that Cid is anything higher than planetary comes from fans mixing the LN and the Anime. In the LN, the sanctuary is described as an infinite space/dimension (a universe). In the anime, it’s simply described as a prison of memories, never appears to be “infinite” and has a center point (infinite spaces do not have center points, so this could also debunk the claim in the LN that the sanctuary is infinite, since both in the anime and LN, I’m pretty sure Cid reaches “the core”). In the anime, Cid destroys the sanctuary that we know for sure is finite. In the LN, I don’t think he does. So what fans do is combine the LN statement that the sanctuary is an infinite space (a universe) and combine it with the destruction feat in the anime, claiming he destroyed a universe. Obvious bull. Correct me if I’m wrong in any of this please, I’m sure I am somewhere. I do think Cid is planetary, but with the evidence we have now and the pace the story is going, he isn’t now, and won’t ever be, more than solar level. Also bear in mind that the anime and LN are getting to be very divergent in terms of Cid’s capabilities.
