I know Teachers Sitting home for a year and a half. Getting Paid. Then Complained about going back to work. Amazon Prime 6-7 days per week. New cars. Vacation. Exercise Equipment. List goes on. I worked through most of this. Making $1k Less per month than I was Summer of 2020.

Retired teacher here. Schools need to go back to teaching the basic subjects and stay the heck out of social issues and trying to raise other people's kids. All of the political unrest has caused a volatile situation for parents, teachers, and kids. I miss the days of good old-fashioned education with moments of light-hearted fun.

This crap started back about 60 to 70 years ago. It started in the colleges teaching the teachers.

Most of the teachers I know (and I know quite a few high school) are teachers because of the time off i.e., Summers off, holidays off, all the perks of time off and benefits. They're not teachers because they want to teach. And most teachers are control freaks, and not the brightest on the Block. I'm not saying this is all teachers but it is a good percentage of them.
