In almost the entire rest of the world people live with their parents until they're married, at least. Because why would you waste all your money on a tiny apartment vs acting as a family to save money and help each other?

These same cultures when they come to Canada/USA still do this, while the locals proudly kick their kids out, enforcing that protestant work eithic because, you know, suffering/struggle is always good, or something.

Not sure if I fall into the category cuz I'm a trucker and spend 3-4 weeks a year at home and when I do I stay in their guest room and all my stuff is either on my semi or in a storage unit. I only use their address for mail purposes but don't actually live there as I'm on my semi so much.

Ok dave but how im I going to buy a house if rented with ultilities is 1400 total earning 48, 000 with no car payment after taxes i am so screwed and mi car insurance is 120 dollars because inflation and apparently old . I would pick loving with parents a lot better option. And yes i live in the cheap part of my state and rent with utilities is total 1400 and also it’s a studio . Everyone can work but don’t generally compare with the struggle. The struggle is insanely real and I really wish i could live with my parents to not have to pay rent and buy a house but no all my rent goes to a landlord i guess that’s better for the economy right Ramsey team? So yes free rent equals house is goals.

If you insist on sending your children out to live on their own at 18 do not be surprised when they stick you in a terrible retirement home at 68 and forget all about you. Hope these parents never get sick or bump into any unforeseen issues in their old age.

I find it funny that the guy that rails against the living wage being the standard wage is now railing against the people that can't afford to live on their own due to low wages. Dave has said that fast food places would go out of business if they paida living wage. My response "good. Then they are operating on a flawed business model and should fail"

I don't think Ramsey realizes costs related to education have in some cases increased by a 1000 percent taking both parents and millennials by surprise.
