Hi everyone! Today's video is a spoiler-free book review of The Wisdom of Crowds by Joe Abercrombie. This is the conclusion to the Age of Madness trilogy, and it's certainly one of my favorite books of the year! I've recorded a video review to be posted last month, but I accidentally deleted the file, so I had to record it again.

Let me know your thoughts on The Wisdom of Crowds if you've read it! If you haven't, are you looking forward to reading it? :)

I completely agree with you, Petrik! For me, The Wisdom of Crowds is one of the best books of this year, if not the best, and it’s the best of Abercrombie. I’m glad you re-recorded this review since I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fantastic review Petrik! I agree with you 100% and I've read the Wisdom of Crowds three times since it came out lol, I think that Abercrombie is the top author in the fantasy game. His sarcastic wit and characterization is unmatched.

Ooh fantastic review Petrik! 👍😊
I haven't started The Age Of Madness yet (almost done with Sharp Ends) but after Daniel, Mike Lieine, Jimmy and Philip's rave reviews I'm most certainly sold on getting this book and reading the heck out of it!! Lol

I loved your review! This will be my next series. I like starting another book before the ending of a series to kind of cushion that empty feeling so when the end comes, there is a new love to read.

Great review! Also dethroned LAoK as my favourite Abercrombie book.

"Sounding a bit feudy to me, chief" hahaha one of the funniest lines in the series.

I haven't got around to reading this yet but I know I'm going to like it. Your taste in reading aligns with my own very well, which is likely why I enjoy your videos so much. If you say a book is good I usually find I agree with you so I'm looking forward to reading this (not that I hadn't planned to do so anyway). I also enjoy your references to art in and on books as well what interested you in them.
Thank you for sharing your opinions and insights and being a worthy booktuber who helps me keep my TBR stocked with good experiences.

A marvellous review of a fantastic, hilarious and heartbreaking book. I've been on a rather large journey through modern fantasy since first reading the First Law, but Abercrombie is still my favourite.

Great review. I would agree that it's up there with Last Argument of Kings. Savine was my favorite. She's such a wonderful character. My takeaway from the Fisrt Law world, "you can never have too many knives."

I can't wait to return to Abercrombie's universe. It's still going to be a while as I am finishing book 3 of Gwynne's of blood and bone trilogy, then diving in to Beyond Redemption, and returning to Abercrombie's the Heroes (finished Best Served Cold and I loved Monza, Caul, Morveer, and Nicomo!). Watching this video drives me to read quicker so I can jump in to this trilogy, Joe's prose, humor, and characters.

Thank you for the awesome review!

I haven’t read any of Abercrombie yet.
Would you recommend that I would start with his earlier series or just dive into the Age of Madness? It will be a while since I am in the midst of Faithful and the Fallen. 😬📚

I just finished reading it and was blown away how good it was. Yes I do know which feudy chapter were you talking about ;) But I really wish Joe wrote a sequel to kill one certain character oh god how I want that character to get their comeuppance.

Abercrombie started ridiculously strong and only gets better and better. His works aren't perfect (no book is) but his books are some of my all-time favourite stories in any medium

I finished reading The Green Mile by Stephen King on Sunday. This might become my favorite book of his. I'm a few pages into The Blade Itself. So far so good. Looking forward to exploring the realms of Lord Grimdark.
