SE5a micro slips outside...

This is the story of a little indoor SE5a model that daydreamed of flying outside in the big blue sky. One calm eveing, the little plane slipped outside right before sun went down, and had an exciting flight.
I made this little guy by using card model graphics printed directly to 1mm depron foam. the fuselage is folded and glued just like the card model would be.

it's Mike's first time behind the camera. it's a little shaky at first buyt he really does a great job and gets some good shots. the song is Johan Struass- The Blue Danube.
I tried to abbreviate the song a bit to get the length down. I also tried to edit the video to the the song as best I could.
the video is made using Adobe Premiere Pro 3
Thanks for watching. turn up the volume and enjoy!

Wonderful. I'm 72. My grandad flew the Se5a in the first, great war. He told me of the adventure, courage, fear and ultimately, triumph. I fly RC and I sure wish he could see this, right now, with me. I'm getting teary eyed and the music is so wonderful. THANK YOU for this video.

Very nice! I'm curious about how you printed the depron sheet. Did you prep the foam in any way to get the ink to adhere or is it just printed straight on to the foam? Congrats on a very nice build!

beautiful little airplane, and a great video to go with it! The Strauss is a great choice too-suits the mood well, plus it's one of those pieces that's impossible to listen to without smiling anyway. happy landings!

What a GREAT vid w/ good contrast up against the lawn. So many vids are taped so far up in the sky you can't see where the plane is and you don't have any sense how fast it's going. Music or no music this was a good vid.

Did you blow up the file at all or did you just use the large version? Because I was thinking of making a newport 17 to "dog fight" my flyzone micro albatros.

Thank-you for the lovely music. So many of these YouTube videos have abominable sound tracks.

@batman2k8, sorry wasn't paying attention. the printer is just a simple Canon MP250 . cost is only $40.
