NX CAM Robotics double MABI robots Automatica 2018

This video shows how you can transfer an existing program for a large portal milling machine into a robot environment in NX CAM.
Robots can be a cheap alternative, especially for applications that require large work spaces.
The application case shows the milling of vehicle models in prototype construction or for design studies. Both robots can work on the workpiece simultaneously, which shows an additional advantage. With a SINUMERIK controller solution, up to 3 or 4 robots can be controlled simultaneously with one controller on several channels. Known functions from multi-spindle technology help to synchronize operations.
