The Jackery Explorer 500 does look portable but the LCD display does look a bit cheap and outdated.

Excellent review Trev, thank you - I intend to get one of these, for if nothing else, to plug in hairdryer to dry off the dogs legs and long beard (black & silver not so mini Schnauzer) 🙄🤣 May I ask please whether you need a special lead/adapter to plug in the TV and sound bar? Just need a van now 🤣 🤞 for late spring / early summer….

Thanks Trev, will definitely go for the Jackery, not sure if the 500 with solar panel is a better choice than the 1000. Driving to Denmark soon so leaning towards the 1000 at the moment .

We have Jackery 1000 great bit of kit especially if you keep motorhome in storage plug it into the EHU and will give you instant power charge up leisure battery etc. Just took it on road trip to Benidorm over Christmas came in very useful. Hair straighteners 1000 watt hair dryer. Charged up whilst driving and Benidorm is alot of driving so always back to full charge by nights stopover. They have come down in price abit now £650 on Ebay for a boxed new one.

This was a very nice review of the jackery. Very thorough. Totally agree with being picky what product you get to review. Sometimes things people ask to be reviewed isn't even something we would ever use or has anything to do with our channel and content. Some things are just odd to be asked to review LOL. Great job on this one! You should get some good use out of this product!

I can’t recommend jackery anymore. Two weeks after the warranty ran out my jackery stopped working. It was nothing they could do but offer me the Christmas discount for a new one. SMH 🤦🏽‍♂️
