This 1968 Vw Beetle was my very first car, it was given to my by my grandmother and i ended up selling it shortly after, it spent alot of fuel and it was not very good at being a daily car.
But i really did like it!
This video is an old one that i made to actually showcase the car on the advert for selling it and then i bought the Bmw 325 tds!
This was around June 2015.

When I’m 16 this is gonna be my car! I love 68’ VW Beetles, especially in Blue or Yellow.

Sadly in the UK getting an old cars is a bloody nightmare, have to stick with corsas and boring polos... I really wish I could get a classic car as my first, but insurance is just a joke.

Couple of years ago in Nepal I saw two beetle cars from different ages lined to be crushed soon in a scrapyard. The condition of the car was not too bad it was good and had all original parts. I felt so sorry that I did not have money to buy them and to save them. Wish I had that day I would have saved them and preserved them. Only I have a photo of those beetle cars one is navy blue and other was green.

She looks/ed great. You drove by a white FJ Troopy, now that's another great classic hard wearing vehicle. I still have one of those up at a mates property.

I just had a long ride in my own 68 Beetle. When I got back home I watch videos of other people driving their Beetle. I'm weird, or just hooked on VW's

Looks like German market and international market Beetles weren't required to have padded dashboards. The US market Beetles got padded dashboards and knobs starting in 1968.

I’m curious where you are located, because this bug has a 1967 dash, in 1968 their was black plastic padding on the dash. The sears also don’t appear to have the big built in headrests, and the 1500cc was engine from 1967, the 1300cc being a one year only feature of the 1966. I’m speaking of North American Beetles, so I am curious about this one, the steering is on the left side and I can’t place the countryside. Thanks.

Nice man, my first car is also a bug but the one from 1969. There is one thing... you're driving very dangerous... it's just too fast man. The brakes in a car of that age are very bad. What would you do if someone behind the corner crossed your way at 2:30? It would be a shame to crash such a bug :/
