Liner notes

A friend of mine was waiting to pick her daughters up from school when a friend of her oldest daughter came running up to her in tears. The poor child told my friend that she and her family would get deported because they were so-called "illegal". The parents are originally from Macedonia but fled the country 13 years ago and tried to build up a normal life in Germany/ Holland.
Their children are born here, go to school here, they have a social life here. But laws tell this family they have to go. Laws ruin these lives and those very same laws will not protect these lives when they go back to a place where it's not even certain they will survive.
This is not an exception, this happens very often. This is an example of what borders do to innocent people. Borders are inhuman.

(So let everybody live where they want to! Let's wipe away all the borders from the maps and spread all the Western wealth all over the world so everybody get what they need! But why, oh why?!?
Because borders are fucked up and they don't make sense at all. They're made to keep poor people away from wealthy countries. Corporate businesses put their factories all over the world so they can exploit those people who are willing work for anything. If those people want a piece of the Western pie they get thrown into jail when they cross the border and get a treatment as if they are criminals.)
