Scott Burwell Playing on Gregg Miner's old Knutsen. Thankfully Gregg was kind enough to let it out of the Museum for a day to capture some time with it.
"Kay" was a song that Scott originally started writing in 1990 for Michael Hedges. It was never completed back then and in 2006 as he picked the song back up to finish it, it became clear to him that it was also being written for his mother "Kay" so a song for his mother kay in combination with Michael Hedges.... two amazing people!

That's amazing. Has anyone ever told Scott he looks like Mark Hamill?

The harp guitar is so intimidating that we have a poverty of songs. This is an example of greatness both in song and musicianship.

It's a shame it's out of tune ! I wonder if that's because they borrowed it from a museum and weren't allowed too !! It's an old instrument after all, but a shame if that's the case. They could have released the tension in the strings after recording and returned it. Maybe it wasn't strong enough to take that tension in the bass strings !!....
