Chandeep, this one is a lot similar to the one you uploaded on May 4 (Sum of Visible Values). In the previous one, context transition was needed for the output of the ADDCOLUMNS function to be correct. In this solution, a context transition was not needed. I guess it is because, DISTINCTCOUNT (which you used in the previous solution) is an aggregator and MAXX (the one you used here) is an iterator. Pls correct me if I am wrong... I am just a beginner and trying to understand how these things work... :)

Thanks for this video .... there is another issue which I am facing where I am having columns: Policies, Classes of polices and each class can have different versions and those versions can have further contribution of premium which can be like 100% or split into 2 or 3 percentage amounts. We need the maximum version only. Tried it through MAXX however didn't work. .. Any Suggestion would be really appreciable.

I'm going to have to re - watch that one, have you any ideas for finding the Nth largest / smallest value, ( excel LARGE, p query List.FirstN(list, x, ){nth } ), I've tried,
MIN( TOPN( X, Table, Table [Unit] ) ), but this doesn't work any suggestions?

Just curious why you didn't use summarize columns instead of combining add columns and summarize

It´s a nice solution, but it could be slow if we have to summarize a large table and apply a MAXX formula that changes dynamically. In my case, it would be slow because the summarize has to calculate the MAXX formula to every single row and than apply my page filters, so it spend time calculating several rows to only see about 0.5% of the data. Is there a way to change the steps orders, so it would apply the page filters first and then summarize?
