The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the lord.(Psalms 37:23) No one who walks determines his own steps.(Jer.10:23) A person's days are determined and the number of his months depend on you.(Job 14:5) The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord(Prov.16:33) {Acts 1:26} The Lord has made all things for himself, yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.(Prov.16:4) Has the potter no right over the clay, to make from the same lump one piece of pottery for honor and another for dishonor? (Rom.9:21) Those destined for death, to death; those destined for the sword, to the sword; those destined for famine, to famine; those destined for captivity, to captivity.(Jer.10:23) All who had been APPOINTED to eternal life believed.(Acts 13:48)

Thank you for your sermon! btw: When I was in Jerusalem, I went to a bookstore, across from the Tower of David, to buy a bible. A messianic jewish minister owns the store. When he came over to help / asked me which one I was looking for, I mentioned I had lots of translations and so a different one was my goal. Given our conversation about various translations and the impact of different words being selected, he told me about a mistranslation in the parable of Mark 10:25 & Luke 18:25. The word: camel, in Aramaic is only one letter different from the word: rope. I always thought a camel going through the eye of a needle was odd. But now, if you think about what a rope is… many strings twisted together, all threads a different thickness… then the parable makes sense more sense… that our life is to unravel the threads and find the one, narrow thread that can fit through the eye of the needle. The one, true, narrow path of Christ. 💕💕
