Chris Pratt is a prominent and multi-award winning movie star that has reached the top of Hollywood fame. It would be interesting to know that Chris had been working as a door-to-door salesman as well as a waiter in Hawaii before becoming worldwide popular. In one of the usual working days, he was noticed by Rae Dawn Chong, who cast him in her movie Cursed that was released in 2001. This opportunity immediately brought him success and recognition in the moviemaking world as everyone could clearly see his acting gift. One could think that such a great actor can boast of not only amazing career but also personal life. Yet, unfortunately, such success and multiple career possibilities have cost him a family.

Chris’s father Daniel had been working in a mining industry and also in remodeling the houses. For many years, he had been suffering from multiple sclerosis complications and had to be placed in a special care unit, where he was looked after by professionals, as he couldn’t walk anymore. In 2014, at the age of 59 papa Daniel passed away.

The mother Kathy had been working in a supermarket the biggest part of her life. According to the actor, he has the best of the best moms in the world, who has always been very supportive, no matter what. When he got a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he dedicated it to Kathy.

The celebrity has two older siblings.

Cully is a brother, who inspired Chris to pursue acting career. It happened during Christmas when both boys were teens and Chris was in a play that simply impressed everyone. Cully knew he would be a movie star without any hesitations. Ever since that time, the older brother has been super supportive.

There is also a sister named Angie, who is very close with the famous brother too. She is happily married and raises two kids.

In 2009, Pratt walked Anna Faris down the aisle. She is a well-known actress and producer, so no wonder they met on a set of a movie in 2007. After dating for two years, the two love birds tied the knot officially in Bali and had been living together up till 2017 when they announced about divorce. There were many grounds as to why such a nice couple decided to walk separate ways but the most important one was that Faris wanted to have a stable family with more kids and Pratt didn’t want to stay at one place and have more children. Despite the separation, the two remain friends and will co-parent their son.

The ex couple’s son Jack was delivered in 2012. As he was born 2 month before the due date, he had to spend a couple of month in an incubator. However, he is now an absolutely healthy and happy kid, who is adored and loved by the parents. According to the them, he already demonstrates some acting skills and who knows, maybe the next movie star is growing up?
