Child still in critical condition after hit by Phoenix police car

Phoenix police say the child hit by a police vehicle Wednesday night is still in critical condition.

Prayers for the kid and family. I also pray they watch their children closer then they have so far. Family does bear the responsibility for the child being in the street alone.

Back in 1969 -70, we moved into a new home at 38st and Cholla. I was 7-8. One of our new neighbors named Garry aka Rocky(a nickname he was given for surviving) got
hit by a Sherrif in Texas before they moved to AZ. From what I remember he was dragged under the car for a substantial distance. He was in a body cast for a while. A year? I don't remember. How long does it take for multiple broken bones to heal?
I'm sure that whole family would send you love if they knew about this. Their love and prayers were answered for Garry, aka Rocky.

But why the hell is a 2 year old unsurprised..? Or with an another child right next to a public street? I prayer and hope he is good! But maybe parents should also be looked at

At 3 mine already were fumbling with the locks, I think i purchased all safety gizmos available, at one point I secured all windows and doors with a special lock release, 100s in install and parts, did it work of course not, I didn't had a real night sleep since they were 3 until they were teens... then my therapist tells me, you've PTSD, ummm really I'll be Dawwmm😒... Wouldn't guess it myself, after so many heart stopping scares...

This reporting is terrible, a child wasn’t hit by an officers car…an officer was driving and he hit the child. Terrible reporting. It’s like say a person was shot by the officers gun as if they officer doesn’t control the gun. Yellow journalism at its finest.

So a child had time to react by waving their hands but the police officer had no time to react. Hmmmm. A child saw waay ahead of time that you the adult police officer were headed directly at a child, but you were doing what? Zero chance we see dashcam footage. Hopefully somebody had a video doorbell
