Should i avoid polyester twine because of the plastic content? For example id imagine hemp, cotton, linen, or silk would be better because they are natural is my theory right or is it ok? Loved the video btw!

Why is the rising sign more important than the Sun in this? I'm a professional astrologer. In natal astrology, the ascendant (the rising sign) represents the surface level of a personality and shows the impression a person first makes upon others. The true essence of a person's deepest self is actually expressed through the Moon sign and that feels more intuitively correct to use in personal magick in my opinion. I would like to know the reasons one would choose the rising sign or the ruling planet over the Moon or even the Sun sign?

This is not recommended, you are not turning to God, you are turning to other powers aside from God. You don't know what your getting yourself into.

Just ask God for all you want instead, go straight to the source of everything, why go to anything else?

Not particularly knot related, but a few years ago a female "friend" tried giving me a button, meant as some kind of symbolic present from her mother. A mother that over the years has been known for practicing magick (she's originally from the Antilles). Intuitively I pulled away my hand when she tried to give it to me and it fell to the ground, I never picked it up as I didn't trust it. The daughter acted surprised, as if I knew about the real intention behind this gift, but I was vaguely aware of her mothers shenanigans and not into magick at all.
After all these years I'm still curious about what she was trying to accomplish and hope some of you reading this have an idea. Malicious no doubt, but I can't really find anything about this kind of magick through google. I have an idea that if I had accepted this gift, I had sealed some kind of spell. I'm also curious if had taken the gift, how I could ever unbind the spell when triggered.
