Fun fact: A cat can help with your grades, taking care of one teaches responsibility and the skills needed to take care of a young child. This technically means that the Father was incorrect in their reasoning.

Fun fact: I also have a miracle kitten. My dad also didn’t like ginger (our kitten) and took him to a cat sanctuary, but a few days later, HE FREAKING CAME BACK!!! We kept him after that

I'm so glad your dad didn't cover Gigi's ability to see when he took him away. According to my mom's experience, cats can memorize long distances like that as long as they saw the whole journey.
And yeah, I totally can relate to a lot of the Korean cultures ;w; I'm glad things are better for you all

cats are extremely good at finding places they have already been, this means cats that go away they would probably come back

Well, actually, sort of.
The kitten gave him extra motivation to try hard and do well in his exams. Sure, he didn't get straight A's but it probably gave him a bit of an extra boost.
