I think that 5000 years ago, Frodo went up Mount Doom and got into a fight with Gollum which led to the destruction of the ring. With the destruction, Sauron was destroyed and mankind prevailed. I want definitive proof that didn't happen. I don't care if the author said it didn't happen. I don't care if any of the literary historians say it didn't happen or literary critics or even freaking scientists! I want someone to show me, that 5000 years ago, Frodo didn't go up mount doom.
