For anyone who doesn't understand why Naruto could lose, it's simply because Gold Experience Requiem (GER) has a main ability called Return To Zero which effectively nullifies all attacks towards him as if they did not happen.

Naruto *did not* lose because Naruto isn't strong enough, far from it. In raw power alone, Naruto greatly surpasses Giorno's stand, however Giorno's stand GER defies the passage of normal laws of "Cause and Effect" which govern the universe i.e. : (Naruto throws a punch, and his foe takes damage. The cause is the punch, and the effect is being damaged). Any character with the ability to defy cause and effect are refered to as being *acasual*, meaning they are exempt from this fundamental law.

Because of this, Naruto literally had no chance as soon as GER came out, because GER is acasual, and is essentially playing a different game. Fights between acasual opponents are often decided by who simply is on higher rungs of acasuality, rather than higher power stats under conventional rules of cause and effect because whoever can negate or surpass the acasuality of the other has greater influence upon reality and can shape it to their will better.

It should also be mentioned that regardless of whether Giorno is ambushed unknowingly or too quickly for his mind to process (like a skilled shinobi may) before he consciously uses the ability, GER is *autonomous and always cognicent of Giorno's surroundings, and can act independently without Giorno's knowledge to protect him*, and also that a mere movement or thought of aggression without the act of violence against Giorno is capable of being reverted too... yea GER is mega busted, as most acasual characters are.

To anyone who thinks naruto should have won, GER is a reality warping stand that can revert any and all actions to their natural zero state, effectively making it so that they never happened. I always say this, but I feel bad for anyone that has to go up against GER.
