Toshiba P300 2tb review VS Seagate SSHD 2tb

Today we're gonna look at another hard drive as I needed some additional archiving space. If you need a huge amount of disk space you might want to look at my recent Seagate barracuda 8tb review that you can check in the suggested videos, that's a reliable 5400rpm drive perfect for backing up your data.
But today we're gonna look at this 2tb drive from Toshiba this is the P300 (HDWD120), I got it on amazon for just 50$, (see the link below) and this is basically the performance line from Toshiba, they also produce the X300 line which is also high performance but it starts from 4tb of space so there's no 2tb option.
Since I have a comparable hard drive which is the Seagate SSHD 2tb, we are going to compare the 2 drives in the same benchmarks. The SSHD drives from Seagate are hybrid drives, which means they contain Flash NAND memory just like SSDs, together with a standard 7200rpm drive, the company recently rebranded the model as Firecuda and you can find models of 1tb, 2tb up to 4tb.

Hi there, thanks for your sharing. I need a 3.5'" 2 TB to 4 TB SATA HDD for movie or film data storage and attach it to Zidoo Media player for watching movie on TV purpose. The question is which one of the HDD from your review suit that task most? I consider to choose one of Toshiba PC 300 or Barracuda, and also other one from WD Caviar Blue. In term of reliability and long term, which one will you recommend? And for information this HDD, I will put it in Orico multi bay Hard drive enclosure with other HDD from the same Brand.
