I tried this (with a backwards command chair) and when I landed I looked at the F1 screen and saw I was in the mountains
Immediately exited the world

If you have a decently upgraded Cyclops, this is actually pretty survivable. You just need to balance your use of decoys, and use shields when they get close.

Welp, I'm outta ideas. I don't even know if if the cyclops will self-right from having its nose forced upwards like that. Although, if you have a Prawn Suit with max depth, you should actually be able to drop out of the Cyclops and just wait. If I remember correctly, if you stay in the Prawn, it'll fall fast enough to evade the Ghosts, and last long enough to reach the bottom of the void, at which point you reset to the middle of the map.
