Presenter Jasmine Harman Opens Up On Living With Her Mum’s Hoarder Battle | This Morning

Presenter Jasmine Harman often wanted to keep her mother's hoarding struggle a secret from everyone else growing up, but in recent years, the pair have opened up about Vasoulla’s battle. Vasoulla sees a therapist for her hoarding and was told how her behaviour started when she was just six. As hoarding behaviours are on the rise, the pair are joined on the sofa by Jo Cooke, Director of Hoarding Disorders UK.

This Morning this therapist would be a great part of the team! I’d watch! I am emotional 😭 about the bit when the daughter started crying! Blessings of all their/your hearts desires manifest in perfect divine timing! Thank you 🙏

I am a hoarder myself.

I honestly don’t know what triggered mine but I suffer from Autism as well which has traits which that cause Hoarding such as intense interests.
It is a constant uphill battle.

This was a great topic, and, it's great Jasmine has compassion and understanding of her Mum. This will hopefully help alot of people.

I have a sister who is a hoarder whose hoardings started with a death of our mother.I can't tell you the sadness I feel, I for my wonderful sister. It really breaks my heart. She refuses any help or to get help. So there is nothing we can do.

I’d be interested to know if grown up children of such hoarders grow up with their own issues because of how they have grown up. I still have a reaction 😅 if the doorbell goes unexpectedly and I’m very tidy and minimalist.

No mention of the father of her kids. It's always just about her and her 5 children!

What a horrible comment Alison made about not being a bad person…that was totally uncalled for and below the belt…she should stop and think..but obviously she is one person who’s mouth goes off before engaging her brain…she does it quite often and it is rude….but then she is one of the rudest presenters on the show to begin with…
