i have a tip for you
If you hold left click when building fence it automatically leaves a space in it try it out!
Same with walls

I do think would be handy if you knew the game a little better before making a guide, because I am not really looking how to start, but tips how to make my prison more effective.

Tip. If youre searching for things that can go in a certain room (sink for the kitchen) you can search for the room (kitchen) and it will bring up everything that can go in the kitchen.

Just a warning "do not put the power station and water station next to each other" unless you want a fire

Your pump was already powered. The cable only needs to touch it, not 'connect at the right spot. '
