Known as “Tetsugaku no Michi” in Japanese, the Philosopher's path is a popular local destination in the north-east of Kyoto!

It is named for Kitaro Nishida, a prominent philosopher who regularly came here during his time at Kyoto University, meditating as he walked alongside the Lake Biwa Canal. This is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and especially in Autumn with the colorful leaves, it is one of the best places to see them!!!!

I hope you enjoyed this video and I would love to hear what you think so please let me know in the comments below and feel free to ask any question!!! 😉

Aaaaah I looove the video. Not only because you're the cutest, but also because the philosopher's path is my favourite memory of Kyôtô. And also, the dog ♥️

I love The Philosopher'e Path, but have not been to Kyoto in Autumn. It's spectacular!!! Great video. Makes me miss Kyoto so much.

Wow, everything looks pretty. What date did you go to Kyoto? I want to go in the fall of this year. It will be good to do it around November 28th or it will be too late to enjoy the fall trees?
