I just bought an Amethyst, what effective mass does your arm have?
have you tried with a test record the resonance frequency... It seems a little saggy to that arm

I have the moonstone top sound is very good had gold ring 1006 moonstone good

I had a PD-282 in the past. The tonearm is a better version of Rega R200, made by Acos. However, with my PD-282 I was always getting some kind of annoying hum or buzz. When I opened it up, I discovered that there was some galvanic corrosion going on between the ground wire and the shielding around the tonearm area.

I hear only cymbals. Moonstone needs a different correction, as it has a -2dB upper mids, +2dB mid-bass, and up to +7dB highs.
