This was probably said before, and I'm unsure if it's even intentional but, I really like how the same voice is used for Alatori and Elliot? Like it seems to switch who's talking, but it's always the same voice? It kind of drives home the point that Elliot is completely controlled by Alatori. I really love that detail.

I haven’t seen anyone bring it up, but I’m super curious about that puppet with Elliot at close to the beginning, it looks like it’s meant to be a woman, though it’s face its covered up by the mask of Alatori’s face. She seems like she was close to Elliot in some way, since when she “dies” they seem to be really distressed.

I’m guessing this is a reenactment of Elliot first meeting Alatori, someone close to them is murdered and Alatori shows up when while they’re grieving. Probably using that to ensnare Elliot so they’ll follow his plan, since the death of that person is so hard to bear. But of course, it’s a trap and now Elliot is stuck with Alatori, clearly suffering the most in comparison to all the other hosts for the Vani’s.

I remember watching the first Vanishing World and looking at the ring of circles at the end and thinking "wow, this is gonna be a long series of songs, will it get finished one day? Nah, it's just gonna be abandoned like a lot of other vocaloid song series"
Then when the second and third songs of the series came up i thought "yeay another song! Vanishing World continues! But it's probably gonna take a long time for the series to finish, like around 7 years, oh well, I'll wait, i like this narrative told through this songs!"
When the remake of Aberrant Garden came out i was kinda sad thinking you were going to revamp the series from the start and it will never really get an end.
And now, with the fifth song of Vanishing World being relished, i finally realized, we are half of the way done, like.... wow, just wow! In just 2 years we are so far into the story, with complex lore of the world and the Vanis, each one with different personalities, appearances and abilities, they're not just a 'i gonna rule the world with the help of this kid i brain washed muahaha' kind of creature, some care for their tether like the Vanis from the third and fourth songs (i forgot their names, sorry), others don't really care as long as their doing their jobs, and other like Alatori here, who completely broke/used their tether just to get what they wanted how they wanted, without a real care for them.
I'm so happy i found you and the Vanishing World serie, and that i was able to be along for the ride from the start, and now we are so far from the start yet some far from the end, i can't wait to see what's next, like, what's going to be the next element, what form will they take, what will happen to Null? Etc, etc. And of course, to some day finally know what's that weird dripping/crackled element at the top, I've been wondering that from the first song XD
