Flosstube #29 JBW Designs - Antique Samplers and Christmas Projects!

Показать описание
This week I answer some of my viewer's questions - in regards to buying an antique sampler and discussing missing letters and lettering that uses a' f' in place of an 's'. I also feature a number of Christmas designs from my collections: many of the Sing a Song Stockings are shown, along with French Country Santa and Peace on Earth. Some finishing tips are shared, but I urge you to ask questions if you need more information in the future.
I also share several Christmas pieces that I have stitched that are from other designers - that I've stitched in past years.
A thank you to Annie from The Proper Stitcher and Artie from The Vintage Stitcher who have been so generous in mentioning my designs and showing beautiful finishes of my designs in their videos.

Thank you for the info on antique samplers and missing letters. I agree with others that the older sampler should be reissued. I appreciate your history research so much. I enjoyed seeing your Christmas pieces by other designers.

I think the wooden wreath is so pretty that your finisher used for your alphabet in the round. I can see myself using that for finishing too. I love your patterns. They are not difficult but so pretty when finished.

Thanks so much for the visit today. I too have seen Jacob's video where he discussed the lettering in samplers. I learned a lot from him. I have really gotten excited about samplers, large and small.
