As an experiencer, I’ve been triggered to respond of late when folks proclaim that the experience follows your thought - it may be true some/most of the time for some/most, but not all.

I do believe in manifesting, but it had zilch to do with my experience at age 12. Whether or not that encounter eventually ends up as a positive, can’t say, but my kids haven’t had encounters they know of, and are an upgrade to this model - which is what I hoped for.

Not allowing space for the negative encounters does sorta feel like denial of a traumatic experience, which is typically a main trigger for a lot of negative stuff for those in similar circumstances.

I keep my thoughts positive - and I’m not fully set on what truly happened to me. I would like others to keep note of this aspect as you have done so well. Thanks!

Couldn’t agree more with much that you have to say in this piece. Humanity is coming from everywhere on the spectrum of complete denial to unfounded convictions about who and what this phenomenon is. Some of it, maybe a good deal of it is based upon some evidence. Certainly, some of it is based upon experiences. But we should assume nothing, and be ready for just about anything. But unfortunately, that would require a rational, levelheaded, fair-minded approach to all this. And we already know full well that there are some powerful people in powerful places who are well beyond anything of the like.
