I love how Steve Vai is credited as "Stunt Guitar" in the end, nice little inside-joke.
For those who don´t know: Vai started his career in Frank Zappa´s live band and Frank used to introduce him live as "my little Italian stunt guitarist".

Man some of you in the comments just need to just listen to the music and enjoy. All this comparing. Jonah is being Jonah. I thoroughly enjoyed this for what it is.

After 40+ years of career, Steve Vai composes a solo that blows away most of the virtuosos out there. Still with his voice, his sounds, and his way to experiment. Always find your inner voice and develop it. Follow Vai's path, but do not follow him

Imagine being the guitarist Jesper. Sees "guitar solo" on the chart. Gets excited. They tell him they have a stunt guitar. Dejected, he asks who, finds out its Steve Vai..."you made the right choice" haha
Out of this world solo. He is ridiculous innovative and original.

Jonah deserves MJ levels of fame. I haven't heard another vocalist who absolutely shreds as hard as he does, on vocals, keys, and I think I saw he plays drums too? Absolute monster composer and player.

Jesus, this was maybe Vai's best guitar solo ever. Jonahs voice sounds like "Michael Jackson meets Stevie Wonder". I love this song.

Jonah is channeling some serious Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 3 energy here

Well fuck... if it IS the most amazing pop song I've ever heard!? Holy shit what a huge amount of good taste here, I need to listen to this tune again and again all day. The 80s were never dead people, only hiding in Nilsson's subconscious!

Imagine being Jesper the guitarist with a Marshall and Flying V, playing ghost notes that get burried under the synth. And then when it's finally time for a guitar solo, they fly in Steve.
