Karmin Perform 'Pumped Up Kicks' Billboard Live Studio Session

Karmin put an upbeat twist on Foster The People's mega-hit "Pumped Up Kicks." Filmed and recorded live at Billboard Studios, NYC.

people interpret songs differently. If you watched the end of the video she explains her interpretation of it. And she's an entertainer, she likes to experiment with her voice. Not many people can even sing as well as she does when she is NOT experimenting with her voice (i.e., singing properly), so I don't think it's a bad thing for her to use her vocal chords and make different sounds. It might come off as annoying to some people and that's a shame. Nice cover.

All you people critizing Karmin, they are very talented and this cover was very well done. To make it in the music industry you have to jump out of your comfort zone and do something that is different and refreshing. I believe they have acomplished this task and have done a very good job.
