You are very right, for example Fringe is a huge budget American back production. But this very show "Continuum" is an all Canadian produced affair on a Canadian Network that has not is released in Canada first long before US. So this is a very special case that i'm glad to see happen.

realy nice series! just saw the second episode and hoping that it will go for many some seasons! i also see fringe and like it and im thinking that this canadian series is a different taste for the up-thumbs of such series! good luck with all!

You guessed right. With just 5 episodes this shows Universe is so damn more complex, moralizing and hardhitting than Fringe even at season 4. Now that i understand the entire concepts and morality fringe. Continuum is far more deeper in meaning and hits close to home. I love both shows but i am blown away by Continuum. The only thing that has ever equal it is "Sherlock" BBC.

Main problem is that it has a tiny budget with emerging production team. Remember it's not Hollywood or even US.

The last SciFi Universe that even was close to this is Fringe. This is one of those pieces of writing which is just beyond being just a TV Show. The theories and concepts and the heart flawed me in just two episodes.

Ahhh. In that case kudos to them. I thought is big network production. They should focus more on details and how she perceive our world (time) and not like she was here all the time. Small things. Secondly the main guy is just too much. Normal guy would do. This one is too handsome for any standards so it's eliminating association with main character. Not that I am ugly. Just realistic. hehe. Anyway, keep it coming (Still missing Firefly)

Watch what they did with stargate universe: they screwed up 13 years of stargate and turned it into space beautiful.

NO HELL NO. You are not even supposed to side or even like any side even Keira the protagonist. This is a morally complex SciFi show we're no body is intentions are pure. The point of the show is to present you with multiple view point and you navigate your way through the details you can pickup to see who you believe you want to side with. If your smart enough you realize all teams are corrupt and good in some way. It's a morality minefield playground.

6 eps in and there is still no attempt to humanise the main character, beyond showing her bleating child.
I can't believe that the channel that made 'Trailer Park Boys' is now making nasty fascist stuff like this, a very disturbing trend.
