Waiting: Week 1. Waiting with Hope

Waiting isn't easy and it's often hard. Too often what we're waiting for isn't worth it. Other times, we wait in the wrong way. But Christmas is all about waiting. We call this season Advent. Just as God's people waiting for the Messiah before Jesus' arrival, we wait today for his return. Our waiting will all be worth it if we wait with the right attitude. In this Advent season, we'll learn how to wait with hope, love, and joy. Today we begin with the stories of Simeon and Anna and the virtue of hope.
